Sörfjärden – fantastic evening light

Filed under: Uncategorized — Markus Dagnell @ 21:02

Sörfjärden NoctiluxThere´s something about the light in Sörfjärden just before the sun goes down below the trees. It´s a matter of minutes to be able to catch last sunbeams hitting the flowers on the beach.

Great colours in the leaves last fall and fantastic falloff from the Leica 50mm lens.

Pentax Fuji 400H – Fotograf- Stockholm

After reading Jose Villas book titled Fine art Wedding photography, I dusted of my fathers old Pentax Asahi Spotmatic, loaded it with Fujifilm Pro 400H. As described in Joses book, shooting  this film overexposed gives pastel like colours and beautiful skin tones.  I really like the result, maybe I should start to shoot film! Daydreaming about a medium format Contax 645 bundled with a Zeiss 80mm F2.Pentax Fuji 400H Pro

In this shoot I looked for a frame in the leaves and even light for her face. Suddenly she put the flower in her mouth and smiled. Click.

From this session there was only one shoot where I nailed the focus. It was rather challenging to manually focus a child picking flowers in the grass.Noctilux 2

Beautiful sunset in Sörfjärden. This picture is one of my favourite summer images. The combination of  the little hand touching the grass and sun in the back. Noctilux
